Did you expect the nomination this year?</span><br /><br />No, I don''t really think in terms of awards, but it is great to be nominated.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">What do you think are the chances of the other nominees — Hema Malini, Bhoomika and Preity Zinta?</span><br /><br />I don''t mean to sound very cliched or boring, but it''s not my place to say who will win. I have not seen any of their films because I have been travelling a lot and was very busy over the past year. But I am sure all of them have done a great job. I have never judged anybody, on-screen or offscreen.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">Of your two films, </span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="" font-style:="" italic="">Pinjar </span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">and </span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="" font-style:="" italic="">Bhoot</span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">, which one does your vote go to?</span><br /><br />Actually, the beauty of both these roles is that they can''t be compared to each other. In both <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Pinjar </span>and <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Bhoot</span>, I play such outstanding personalities and roles that they can''t be weighed against each other. But I guess the jury must have seen something good in my character in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Bhoot </span>in order to nominate me.<br />Personally, I think my role in <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Pinjar </span>was quite challenging and difficult to play.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">While you were shooting, did it cross your mind that you had a great role which would win awards?</span><br /><br />No, never. I never think on those lines at all. It''s just not me. Yes, I agree that the Filmfare Awards are the ultimate endorsements but this has really not been my criteria while doing challenging roles.<br /><br /><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">You delivered a great performance in </span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="" font-style:="" italic="">Ek Hasina Thi </span><span style="" font-weight:="" bold="">this year. Do you think that you will run away with the awards at next year''s ceremony?</span><br /><br />Well, I''ll pass that question on to the jury next year! </div> </div>
